Amish Points

Amish Shadows     (28"x28"x1")
Suzi created this traditional design around 1990 for her son Scott. Finished in the "Suzi's Hang Art" method, it becomes a striking art piece for a young man's first apartment. The framing process is as easy as 1-2-3-Done. I hang this piece on point.

Clamshell    (20"x20"x1")
This is a traditional hand appliqued piece Suzi created in 1978. Some people love to make clamshell quilts but this was enough for Suzi. She first finished it as a pillow then took it apart and after adding the yellow inner border, finished it in the "Suzi’s Hang Art" method.

Hawaiian Green
    (22"x22"x1")
This is a traditional Hawaiian hand-quilted piece with whole cloth applique and shadow quilting. The "Suzi’s Hang Art" method is a nice way to finish and display these works of art. The framing method is as easy as 1-2-3-Done.

Museum Star
   (28"x28"x1")
Suzi made numerous quick-triangle squares and created this design. She then quilted and finished it with the "Suzi’s Hang Art" method and made it into a wall art piece. Many antique and modern quilt squares can be quickly finished in this way. This piece was inspired by a workshop with Mary Ellen Hopkins.

Poinsettia Window
    (22"x22"x1")
Suzi made this in 1982 while teaching numerous stained-glass quilting classes using Roberta Horton’s method. Roberta was Suzi’s original teacher in 1978 when she discovered her passion for quilting. Suzi finished it with the "Suzi’s Hang Art" method. This piece is especially enjoyed on the wall during the Christmas season.
